So yesterday I made pork chops and really ugly greens beans. Today I made this bomb ass chicken dish. Both are ugly as hell. This is what I did. For the green beans I bought a bag of fresh green beans, the kind you don't have to wash. I seasoned it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Put them in the air fryer for 6 minutes on 400°. You then take them out, shake shake, then dump a jar of shaved parmesan on it. Back in the air fryer for 5 more minutes. This is what you get: There is really no angle or lighting where it doesn't look atrocious. Now the next time I make these, I am going to use a different kind of cheese. The parmesan tasted amazing, but most of it stuck to the fryer rack. We are sharp cheddar kind of people. For the chicken, well it wasn't AS ugly as the picture depicts, but as soon as it was ready we dove into it and all that was left to photograph was what a sat there for an hour and stuck to the slow cooker. Jared and Mae ate it over rice, I ate mine with just a spoon. Super easy. Place 3-4 chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. THIS IS IMPORTANT Dump an entire pack of McCormick's Zesty Herb seasoning on the chicken. The recipe I was sent said to use a packet of Italian seasoning, and while I was searching for it, I remember how much pizazz the Zesty Herb adds to food, so I went that route. Word to your mother. I used a block and a half of cream cheese, just broke off chunks of it and strategically placed it on the chicken, then dumped a can of condensed Cream of Chicken over it. Not so strategically. I cooked it on low for 8 hours. When I got home I added some garlic and onion powder, and shredded it with a meat masher, let it sit there until the rice was cooked, and then we went to pound town. Yeah I know. But let me tell y'all, this is where it's at. So go make this, and you can thank me later. Enjoy.
